We are looking for a Domestic/Laundry Assistant to join our team at Marchmont. We have 2 positions available 15 hour per/week and 13.5 hour per/week. Over time available.

Job Purpose: To work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of
cleanliness and hygiene within the home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness of linen, towels and client’s personal clothing, and to ensure an adequate supply of these items at all times.

Main Responsibilities -

  • To ensure all areas of the home are clean as per cleaning schedule.
  • Restock toiletries, soaps, towels etc as and when required.
  • Washing and drying of personal clothing.
  • Washing and drying of bedding, towels facecloths etc.
  • Ensure clean clothing is returned to the appropriate place.

Essential:
Good communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team.
Satisfactory Disclosure
Two references – one must be from previous employer.
Desired:
Care for the Elderly experience

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.60 per hour
